It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog,
and I will become as generous and loving as they are.

For Willow

Boxers are angels, sent to watch over us-
They protect and guide us. They love unconditionally.
They help us to be understanding, unselfish and caring for others.
They make us laugh when we are sad, and they comfort and protect us through life's storms.

They are teachers, sent to help us learn-
They teach kindness and compassion, patience and devotion.
They teach truth and honesty, and what it means to love and be loved completely in return: All of life's lessons given without judgment or prejudice.

And when the time comes to say goodbye in a physical sense, we can know that in time, the heartache will fade, and be replaced with a sense of peace, and we will look back on the time that we have had together, and know that we were indeed blessed to have shared our lives with such amazing souls. We are all better for having shared our lives with our Boxer angels.

Thank you, my sweet Willow, for bringing such joy into my life.  You were, indeed, my angel here on earth, and you will be with me, always.

Euthanized due to brain tumor

Godspeed Angus.

Broc, Leezah, Sloan & Kaiser Pratt

Sadly, after a brief, but terrible battle with a brain tumor, we sent our dear, sweet, baby dog, Angus to heaven today. He was so peaceful and I know to the very last second he was with us, he knew he was loved. Angus was an amazing dog, one of those once in a lifetime companions...he was more human than dog. We were so extraordinarily blessed with him gracing our lives for the past nine years, he was, and will always be, our first baby.

We are sad that he isn't with us now, but we know that he is perfect and healthy, running in the sunshine, playing and chasing squirrels. He will wait for us until we see him again.
