Our Past Boxers
Lupie
|
“Lupie” was Zane’s first
boxer.
He bought him as a puppy from
a co-worker in 1977. Lupie
was
Zane’s best buddy until at
8 years of age, he was
tragically struck by a car.

Brandle and Duchess
Zane had these two boxers
when I met him in 1985.
Both were puppy mill bred.
Brandle was a plain brindle
male. Because of him, I was hooked on boxers for life. He was totally deaf,
had thyroid issues and died suddenly at 5 years of age in 1989. I was aware
that he had a significant murmur, but was unaware that it was life threatening
or even that it was a prevalent health issue with boxers. My vet didn’t
know either. He told me that his death was likely related to his obesity
due to my feeding him table scraps.

|
Duchess was a flashy fawn
girl. She was 11 years old in this picture. She lived to be 15. I helped
her to the bridge in 1993.
|
BubBub, Sophie, and Dutchie
|
|
“Sophie” (center) was
purchased to help fill the void that Brandle left in our hearts. She proved
to be a wonderful companion and a doting mother to her two litters.
“Dutchie” (right) was from
Sophie’s first litter. She was the dam of our first champion, Am/CanCH
ZanDel’s Tip A Few.
“Bub Bub” (left) was from Sophie’s
second litter.

Gray Dawn's B Still My
Heart...
- Gabby -

|
Gabby was our first show
prospect. We purchased her in 1997.
She is 10 ½
years old now and living with our daughter, son-in-law & two grandsons.
|
ZanDel's Star Dust Of
Ridge Run
- Ziggy -

|
Ziggy was our second purchased
show prospect. He was a BIG
BIG silly boy. He delighted
in getting his tongue into your
mouth when you least expected
it. No one ever won a
wrestling match with Ziggy.
He would pin you down & have
his way with you. The more
you laughed, the more it
encouraged him and of course
it also provided him with
more opportunities to do what
he did best. He is pictured
here with his breeder, Paul
Fry of Ridge Run Boxers.
